As part of the pre-application planning process for the Shipham community project we are hosting a public exhibition this Wednesday, June 16th at Shipham Village Hall between 6.30 and 9.30pm with presentation/Q&A sessions at 7pm and 8pm.
DistGen staff will be on-hand to explain both the physical elements of the turbine and the community investment opportunities.

UPDATE
Many thanks to all those who came to see us on Wednesday – we were totally amazed by the overwhelming level of support that was shown for the proposals! From the feedback forms handed in the clear majority of those expressing an opinion were strongly in favour of the scheme proceeding with only 2 objections. There were a number of people expressing an “unsure” opinion and we will work hard to provide additional information so that as many as possible can make a definitive decision.
